20 feet Webbing Self Retracting Lifeline
The blocfor® B20 web self-retracting lifeline provides freedom of movement to workers performing their job at various heights. The device automatically takes up the slack in the strap, keeping it out of the way while minimizing the free fall distance, should a fall occur. In the event of a fall, the sudden jerk in the strap will activate the centrifugal locking mechanism, arresting the fall within less than 40 in. (1 m).
Very lightweight and easy to handle, the blocfor® B20 features an ergonomic design with corrosion resistant components. In the event of a fall, the drum is locked by a single pawl which engages in a ratchet wheel under the effect of the centrifugal force caused by the acceleration of the falling weight attached to the web lifeline.
