PowerStrand PRO8PS High Performance Ropes is a 8 strand compacted rope. 
This rope has eight outer strands which are rotary swaged and compacted for superior crush resistance on multi-layer drums. It has a plastic coated core between the outer strands and inner core to increase stability of the rope structure. The high tensile strength of this rope and superior crush resistance on multi-layer drums makes it an excellent rope for boom hoists on luffing and crawler cranes, overhead cranes, Tower Cranes and Trolley Ropes. This rope should be used in applications where both ends of the wire rope are secured to prevent rotation.
8mm to 12mm 8x19 Seale Construction
1/2" to 32mm 8x26 Warrington Seale Construction
33mm to 48mm 8x31 Warrington Seale Construction
Some diameters are available in a Left & Right Hand Lay, please consult your crane manual or contact Wesco for further advice.
Use of swivel is NOT permitted
