Light Truck/SUV Chains

 
Light truck/SUV Traction chains are available in 5 types:
 
Auto-Trac LT/SUV self-tightening alloy steel square link pattern hoop chains - for easy installation (without moving the vehicle), and smooth traction.  Good for snow and ice covered roads and highways.
 
Super Z/LT Cable Chains - easy installation (without moving the vehicle) and fairly smooth traction.  Good for snow covered roads and highways.
 
Alloy Square Link LT/SUV - for extended use on snow and ice covered roads.  Rougher riding square link chains for industrial use in towing and snow clearing.
 
V-bar LT/SUV - V-bar Tire Chains for extended use on deep snow and extremely ice covered roads.  Rougher riding V-bar chain for use in towing, snow clearing, and off-road mud service.
 
Scorpion Studded LT/SUV Chains - for extreme traction on all off-road terains.  This is our most agressive chain with highest off the tire profile.  Rough riding studded for logging, mining, and oil field service access roads.  Also excellent for mud service.
 

Best way to find chain size:  Enter tire size into top right "Enter Keyword or Part Number" field.
ie:  265/75R16 or 265/75-16
 

Depending on tire size, results may show 2 chains of same type - choose larger size if being used with heavy tread or snow tires

 
!!! Due to variations in tire manufactures, and the geometry of the suspensions in many cars - it is imperative that you find out that there is enough clearance for chains to be used. It is also important to install chains prior to actual use and examine for proper fit. If using on front wheel drives it is neccessary to turn wheels all the way to the left, and right to make sure chains will clear all components, and body work when car is in motion. !!!
