These chains are made from alloy steel drawn to square profile and intended for use in snow, ice, and mud. Chains come equipped with cams. Cams allow for easy tensioning of chains.
Made to Canadian specifications, these chains are overbuilt, and components used are all oversized. Ensure vehicle has sufficient clearance to use these chains. Made from Alloy steel and case hardened, these chains are made to last. The oversized material make for a good height profile off the tire, ride is not as rough as V-bar, but still rough compared to a pattern chain.
Typical uses would be for extended highway use in snow and ice. Industrial applications would be for highway tow trucks, and road clearing. The square profile is perfect for grip on ice, and the case hardened alloy steel will yield the longest service life. Chains are also reversible for extended service life.

!!! Due to variations in tire manufactures, and the geometry of the suspensions in many trucks - it is imperative that you find out that there is enough clearance for chains to be used. It is also important to install chains prior to actual use and examine for proper fit. If using on front wheel for steering it is necessary to turn wheels all the way to the left, and right to make sure chains will clear all components, and body work when truck is in motion. !!!
