9/32 Inch V-bar Cross Chain

Procraft V-bar twist link is the most agressive chain allowable on snow or ice covered paved roads and excellent for snow clearing applications. This cross chain has V-bars welded to the centers of the links that provide added height off the tire for deep snow and ice traction. The V-bar reinforcement will take the brunt of the wear until worn down, then the base twist link starts to wear. For that reason, V-bar has excellent service life and traction. One drawback is that the high off the tire profile makes for a rough ride on hard pack.

Procraft V-bar twist link cross chain is machine resistance welded and hardened for abrasion resistance and durability. The finished product is tumbled, polished, and clear laquer coated for a clean inspectable finish. We do not use paint, or zinc plated finishes that can often hide material voids, or weld imperfections.
