- This tool works great for use as a skidder chain tightener or heavy duty tire chain tensioner

- Ideal for installing large equipment traction chains

- Do not use Impact driver to tighten the screw pin on the tensioner

- Tighter chains last longer, ride smoother and wear tire chains more evenly. Heavy equipment chains that are used loose to the point where the chain piles and balls up at the bottom of the tire will wear out dramatically due to the chain folding back on itself and the weight of the machine running over it.
