A Knob & Eye Logging choker is also known as a Cat Choker. With an eye on the pulling end, this choker can be conveniently used with hooks and shackles.
Capacity is noted as maximum line tension in pounds. It is not based on the weight of the log, but the maximum pulling force the choker can be subjected to as log is being skidded. Factors such as terain slope, shock loading, and snags must be taken into account when selecting size.
